Description
Australian Grey Ironbark [Eucalyptus paniculata]
A striking fusion of early Australian pastoral history and modern architectural lighting. Hand-crafted from an authentic, late 19th-century Australian Ironbark fence post salvaged from the historic Kiama region, this one-of-a-kind wall sculpture serves as both a bold sculptural statement and a warm, atmospheric light source.
The piece features original face-bored tension holes complete with preserved, oxidized 19th-century wire remnants embedded deep within the timber—tangible proof of its pioneering agricultural past. Hand-fitted with offset barbed wire stand-offs, the timber floats 30 mm off the wall, casting a soft, warm LED halo across the surrounding surface.
